Beginning and Intermediate Spanish with Medical Emphasis:
Spanish for Healthcare Professionals is a great resource for anyone in healthcare who is wanting to learn vocabulary and phrases for his or her particular area of care. The book is divided into genres of healthcare from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Beginning Conversational Spanish
I love the ‘Practice Makes Perfect’ series. These books are very user friendly and easy to follow. This book goes over a lot of basic vocabulary and the beginnings of sentence construction.
Intermediate Spanish (both conversational and medical)
Another book in the ‘Practice Makes Perfect’ series, this is a great resource for students who want to increase their knowledge and practice of verb tenses.
I love this website for translation. You can get as a free app for your phone or for your computer.
Duolingo is a free language-learning platform that includes a language-learning website and app, as well as a digital language proficiency assessment exam. Great to have on your phone!
